We set off from Maputo Fishing Port towards Santa Maria Beach, the first setting of this adventure. Here, enjoy the sea with a snorkelling session and some fun with beach games like volleyball and football.

Then we head to Inhaca Island, where you'll get to know the village and get a feel for local life on a walk. The trip continues with lunch at a local restaurant before we set sail again.

The last stop is Portuguese Island, where the day ends in the best possible way: with a sunset over the waters of Maputo Bay. It's the perfect moment to relax, take photos, make memories and, for the more adventurous, enjoy one last swim before heading back.

Before you board

Is the price per person or per group?

The trip is shared: 6,000 MT per person and 12,000 MT for a couple. Groups get special rates - 22,000 MT for 4 people, 33,000 MT for 6 and 42,000 MT for 8 - and larger groups get special packages at even better prices.

Do you do the Day Trip privately?

Yes. We also organise private trips, with options tailored to your group and your preferences. Contact us to find out the options and ask for a quote.

Where does the speedboat leave from?

From Maputo Fishing Port: that's where you board and come ashore, and where our ticket office is.

Is lunch included?

Yes. The trip includes snacks on board and lunch at a local restaurant on Inhaca, as well as the Marine Reserve fees.

Do I need to be able to swim to snorkel?

There are life jackets for everyone and a guide stays with the group. Snorkelling is optional - anyone who prefers can stay on the beach.

How do I know I'm booking with Bússola Azul?
